Stern Fashion

Exclusive fashion photography has a great tradition at STERN. Yet, in collaboration with the magazine's editor and New York based fashion editor Julia von Böhm, Frances Uckermann added a new chapter: published three times a year, the large-format fashion supplements “STERN Mode” were produced exclusively for these issues with the world's best photographers. In each issue, a star of international fashion photography showed her/his unique style and her/his view of current fashion. Having created this new concept, Frances and her team worked with Peter Lindbergh, Ryan McGinley, Nick Knight, Collier Schorr, et. al. to bring their view of fashion to the magazine's readers.
